Our club is constantly evolving and growing.  Our mission is to provide a warm and friendly environment for all ages to learn and fly RC Model Aircraft. We meet at 10am+ most Weekends and regular evening flying (weather dependant) just behind the Sunderland American Golf Driving Range, Newcastle Rd, Sunderland SR5 1JT.  Occassionally other social events are arranged at alternative venues.

The City of Sunderland Model Aircraft Club was founded in 19** and has been in continuous operation ever since.

The objective of the Club is to promote interest, techniques and friendship among people involved in all aspects of Aero-modelling.

The Club is affiliated to the British Model Flying Association, the sport’s governing body. Membership of the BMFA provides the necessary insurance cover and is compulsory for all Club members.

As a Club, we take part in several aspects of aero-modelling, including radio-controlled fixed-wing powered aircraft, gliders, helicopters & control line.
