We meet at 10am+\u00a0most Weekends and regular evening flying (weather dependant)\u00a0just behind the Sunderland American Golf Driving Range, Newcastle Rd, Sunderland SR5 1JT.\u00a0 Occassionally other\u00a0social events are arranged at alternative venues.<\/p>\n

The City of Sunderland Model Aircraft Club was founded in 19**\u00a0and has been in continuous operation ever since.<\/p>\n

The objective of the Club is to promote interest, techniques and friendship among people involved in all aspects of Aero-modelling.<\/p>\n

The Club is affiliated to the British Model Flying Association, the sport\u2019s governing body. Membership of the BMFA provides the necessary insurance cover and is compulsory for all Club members.<\/p>\n

As a Club, we take part in several aspects of aero-modelling, including radio-controlled fixed-wing powered aircraft, gliders, helicopters & control line.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
